Hi, I'm Jenn. Two N's.
I'm a mom x3 and an executive at a Fortune 30 company. My job is customer experience, and I'm also a brand experience advisor for founder-led companies serving mothers and families. I find where the brand promise breaks down and I redesign the moments so customers actually feel the care.
On the weekends you'll find me with my family, or doing returns at Whole Foods.
In corporate, I've had a front-row seat to women working against each other. I've also been fortunate to have a front-row seat where women are working together and lifting each other up. I've had women help me get through some of the toughest parts of my life — and I want more of that in the world.
I can't wait to meet all of the incredible women in the area. If you see me, say hello!
Why I created this
I couldn't find a place that listed all of the local businesses in our corner of Montgomery County, or the ones owned by women. With more and more women leaving the corporate world to start their own things, I wanted this to be a place we could support each other's business. And I wanted it to be the first place people go when they have a need.
The second, quieter reason
I wanted this to show what's possible. I know there are women out there sitting on a business idea, or a passion, and they don't know where to start. By learning from the businesses before us, my hope is we can learn from each other. What works, what doesn't, and how to take the leap into owning your own business.
What's next?
I'm learning as I go with this. Right now, Our Circle is a space where the bigger it gets, the more the Circle grows. No woman is left out. There is room for everyone.
Right now we're focused on building the Circle with businesses. Next up, I'd love to do features on the women in the Circle — how the business came to be, and lessons learned along the way. More to come soon!
